"Are you sure, Will?" Evan smiled and tilted his head slightly. "We wouldn't want to put you two out..."
After a moment of hesitation he sighed. "Alright. But we'll at least help you guys out around the house. I don't wanna feel like we're freeloader."

"I can help with the cooking." Ann volunteered, hoping they were as easygoing about food as Evan was

“Hey, don’t worry about it. It’s no problem and this is what friends are for, right?” Will grinned, patting Evan’s shoulder. Sarah smiled at Ann. It usually took her awhile to warm up to people, Will was the outgoing one in the relationship, but she liked Evan’s fiancé.
“That would be a big help.”

"The least I could do for you two." Ann smiled slightly back "And since I havn't managed to poison Ev with my cooking yet, I figure it's safe..."

Sarah laughed, shifting her weight to her other foot. At least she was wearing comfortable shoes, she couldn’t imagine how Cam got around in those high heels she was prone to wearing.
“How was the trip here?”

"Oh, it was....." Ann shot a small glance at Evan, smiling shyly, before looking back at Sarah. "Enjoyable. I like to travel, though..."

“Sounds fun.” Sarah grinned. “I like to travel too but this one would rather stay home.” She tilted her head slightly towards Will. He shrugged, smirking.

"Of course." Ann smiled wider, her nervousness fading. "There might be a football game, or whatever else it is men do all day. Can't miss it."

“Or hockey.” Will offered, glad to see Ann and Sarah coming out of their shells. Sarah laughed, rolling her eyes.
“And there’s dirty clothes to leave on the floor.”

"Dirty plates to leave all over the coffee table." Ann grinned

“Trash to not take down to the street.” Sarah giggled at the dirty look she was getting from Will. She grinned at Ann. “Next time we can go on vacation and leave these two with the kids.”

"My family own a house on the Virgin Islands." Ann grinned. "It's imaginary, though. I'm sure there're hotels that are actually real, though."

“A hotel with a spa.” Sarah smirked, glancing sideways at Will. “How long do you think they’d last without us to take care of them?”

depends on how old the kids are, and how far the phone is away from the couch." Ann laughed, "More the 20 feet, and they're dead before they can order a pizza

“I guess we’ll have to wait till the kids are old enough to take care of themselves and their dads.” Sarah laughed. “Or move the couch closer to the phone.”

"MUCH easier than just moving the phone." Ann laughed softly

“But if we move the phone they’d probably forget where we moved it to.” Sarah smirked.
“So how did you two meet?” She asked, deciding the guys had suffered enough abuse.

Evan looked at the two women, giving them a look of mock hurt. "Aw, we're not that bad...yet. Give us fifteen years and a couple dozen extra pounds, THEN you'll need to move the couch closer to the TV and phone."
"We met in Toys-R-Us." He smiled. "I was looking for toys for the animals at the clinic and she was looking for squeaky toys for her friend's schnouser. We just sort of clicked instantly."
