Ann finally snapped herself out of her reverie, introducing herself to the woman. "I'm Ann, it's nice to meet you." she smiled gently
"Cammie!" Barbie grinned. "We were supposed to go out for lunch before I left, but I couldn't reach you!" she hugged her friend

“Likewise,” Cam barely got out before being hugged. “Oh yes, I’m sorry, slipped my mind too. And they were working on the phone at the house, you know, they shut everything down when they do that.”
She hugged her friend back, smoothing her shirt back down, as she added with a smile. “But to make up for it, we should do dinner at my house! It’ll be fun, Sarah and Will can come, as for Evan and Ann! Oh, company would be lovely. We could get together say…Friday. Watch a movie or play some games. Oh, I’m up for anything.”

"Sounds wonderful! I'll bring Nicky along, maybe we'll play some cards." Barbie grinned "You know how much I adore playing against Abel." she laughed; she thought of her one mission in life to annoy the man.

“And Abel enjoys it. Even if he says otherwise.” Cam grinned, thinking of big of a baby he’d been last time they’d played. And he’d lost.
“Okay then. It’s settled, my house, this Friday. Dinner and cards.” The dog was pulling at his leash, getting impatient. “Okay, well, I’ve got to be off, before grouchy hubby sends the police out looking for me.”
The dog was already pulling her slightly as it headed toward what must have been home. “Remember! If Abel answers the door, just nod and agree!” She yelled, disappearing around the other bend, her yelling still audible over the noise of the park.

Barbie laughed. "Ahhh, cammie knows me better than that..." she shook her head, not really talking TO anyone. Barb KNEW lots of 'wolves, loved and respected them, but she'd be damned if she'd submit to a male run society, no way

Evan rubbed his stomach where Will had elbowed him out of the way. "Hm. She seems nice. How'd she end up with Abel?" He looked to Ann, smiling. "A game night sounds fun, huh?"

"It does." Ann smiled slightly; she enjoyed cards, though winning was never too important

Evan chuckled softly. "Will, remember when you, me and Joey Armstice used to play cards together? Somehow one of us always ended up in our underwear and socks." He shook his head a little at the memories. He still had no idea how that ended up happening.

“Yeah, somehow.” Will laughed. “I think the alcohol had more than a little to do with that.” He shook his head, smirking slightly.
“Besides, just because you run out of money is no reason to quit playing.”

Evan laughed. "We really knew how to put 'em away, huh?" His high school days were pretty much a blur of alcohol, music and random pets...
"How are Joey and Nora anyway? Is Randy doing alright?"

“You know, I haven’t talked to them in awhile.” Will rubbed the stubble on his chin that Sarah had been begging him for weeks to shave. Sarah rolled her eyes.
“Well, I have.” She glanced up at her husband and chuckled. “Everyone’s been doing well.” Will grinned suddenly, still reminiscing.
“Hey you remember senior prank? With the goats and the principal’s car?”

Evan laughed and grinned. "Oh yeah...Took him two weeks to get the smell out." He thought for a moment, trying to recall any of the other events of that night. "Oh, remember how the goats ambushed poor Joey?"

“I didn’t think he’d ever forgive us when the damn things ate his shoe.” Will smirked, rubbing his neck.
“Man, it’s been too long.”

A solem nod was Evan's response. "Mmhmm..."
"Oh, I wanted to ask you guys. Is Dr. Monroe still running the veterinary clinic?"

“Hell if I know.” Will cocked an eyebrow, thrown off for a second.
“Why?”

"Well...I did do something other than fall in love and get engaged in New York." Evan beamed proudly. "I'm now a licensed DVM. Finished my apprentenceship and everything."

Will nudged Evan’s side playfully.
“Busy guy. Damn, we need a congratulations party or something for everyone.” He glanced sideways at Sarah and then back at Evan.
“So, where are you two staying?”

“Well, you two are always welcome at our place.” Will grinned, slipping his arm around Sarah’s waist. “We’ve got one of those couches that fold out into a bed and everything.”
