Evan tilted his head slightly. "The doctor's? Why would you be going there?" He paused then slowly smiled. "Talk about congradulations." He hugged Sarah and punched Will's arm. "Boy or girl?"

“Just getting an ultrasound.” Will smiled proudly, glancing at Sarah.
“A boy.” She murmured, blushing slightly. Will laughed.
“The woman’s four months pregnant and you’re telling me you just now noticed?”

Evan shrugged, smiling. "I was distracted." He intertwined his fingers with Ann's, smiling sheepishly. "And that's actually kind of a coinsidence..." He squeezed his love's hand lightly and patted her stomach. "Four weeks."

“Congratulations.” Sarah grinned widely, taking her husband’s arm. “And I take it as a compliment that my belly isn’t the first thing people see.” Will laughed.
“So, you hoping for a girl or boy?”

Even shrugged slightly, still looking a tiny bit sheepish. "Either one, long as the baby and Annie are alright." He kissed his finace's cheek softly then looked back to Sarah and Will.
"So what've you two been up to? Well, besides the odvious." He gestured to Sarah's stomach.

“Cliché father-to-be answer,” Will smirked.
“Oh, you know. The typical pre-baby run around. Trying to find a house, arguing over baby names, looking at cribs; that kind of stuff.”

Evan laughed softly. "I guess Annie and I should be getting started on that stuff too. Sure we have another eight months, but you know what a procrastinator I can be. Remember when we had that biology project due junior year, Will?"

It wasn’t long before a young woman appeared, coming around the bend of the park at what seemed an accelerated speed. As she got closer it was evident she was being pulled by a dog almost as big as she was.
“Rufus! Stop right now!” She squealed finally able to get a fair decent hold on the pavement with her high heels. The dog jerked back as she sprung forward catching herself on the dog’s back.
“Goo-good doggie,” she sighed, patting its back, as she straightened her skirt and dusted it off. Looking up to see the crowd of people that had probably seen the entire thing.
She smiled slightly, that was Barbie standing out there. With people. Well, Sarah and Will were there. But there were two people she didn’t know. This might be fun.
She started waving as she neared the group.

Evan looked to the unfamiliar woman, smiling. She must've come to Cold Creek after he'd left, because he'd never seen her before. "Hi." He knelt down to scratch her dog's head. "Nice dog. What breed is he? Malamute?"

Cam looked at the dog a moment before she looked back at the man.
“Umm… I’m not really sure. He’s my husbands. I just use him as an excuse to leave the house.” She replied, her voice sounding light and sweet.
She smiled showing all her teeth as she stuck her hand out for a shake. “Caoimhe, say that three times fast. Cam for short. Caoimhe Jiovanni.”

Evan shook her hand. "Evan Karter, nice to meet you, Cam." He blinked at the mention of her last name. "Jiovanni? Abel actually got married? Wow, can't say I'm not impressed."

Cam blushed slightly. Why was it no one could ever believe she’d married the man? Was he really that dislikable?
“Yeah, well I don’t know whether to thank you or not.” She said, holding up her perfectly manicured hand, the large gold band set with more diamonds then she’d ever cared to count, glinting in the July sun. “It seems no one believes we’re married. Sometimes I don’t believe it myself.”
She smiled, pulling the dog back as it started toward a bird on the ground. “I know he’s a little…scary. But really, he’s more bark then bite.”
“Abel that is, not Rufus. Rufus is just a big baby.” She said, making something that sounded like baby cooing at the dog.

“Hey, Cam.” Will smiled at Cam after not so discreetly elbowing Evan in the stomach. He reached down and scratched behind Rufus’ ears.
“How’ve you been?”

“Hey, Will.” She said grinning, “I’ve been good. Well, you know, as well as one can be pregnant. But honestly, Abel has worse mood-swings then I do. This was s’pose to be my time to boss him around. And the old fart still finds ways to tell me what to do.”
“And how about you and Sarah? Find out what that baby is yet?”

Will laughed, that sounded like Abel. Sarah smiled softly, nodding.
“We’ve been good. We were just at the Doctor’s.”
“It’s a boy.” Will butted in, smiling proudly.

“Oh! How lovely,” Cam gushed, fighting the urge to grab Sarah up in a hug.
She settled for doing that little rocking back on her heels thing that Abel hated.
“Oh snap and I’ve still got at least two months to go. But personally I don’t care. A baby is a baby. And I want a baby.” She rolled her eyes, “And looks like I’m getting one too. That is if I don’t kill my husband first.”
Ooc; Just so you know, she’s s’pose to sound kinda young. Just the opposite of Abel.

((ooc: noted ^^ ))
Sarah tilted her head slightly towards her husband.
“Well, this one’s excited. He’s wanted a boy since day one.” Her grin widened, resting a hand over her stomach. “Wait till the baby starts kicking. You wanna feel?”

“Aww, that’s so sweet.” Cam replied smiling. “Kicking? Oh, how darling. And yes, I’d love too.” She laid her hand on Sarah’s stomach. “Wow,” Cam muttered, “It’s so hard to believe. A little life is in there. And in less then a year, it’s going to out here. And we aren’t going to be living for just ‘us’ anymore.”

“I know,” Sarah sighed. “It’s weird to think that in less than five months we’ll have a baby.” She laughed softly when the baby kicked.
“Seems like we were kid’s ourselves not too long ago.”

“Yeah. Tell me about it,” Cam shook her head, pushing her blond hair behind her ears. “I mean, and now, to be mothers. It’s wonderful though, I wouldn’t – couldn’t – trade it for the world.”
