-------------------------------
He never recalled what town he even ventured into. Hell he barely pay attention to what state he was even in. All he knew was that he was traveling, and very much a loner. He had made his run ins with several packs and surprisingly survived it. But now, now it was a whole new ball game. He walked through the small town until he came upon a graveyard. He stopped, taking in the surrounds and the sudden feel of misery, regret and loneliness. He frowned some, shoving his hands into his pockets and continuing on through the path.
He took time to stop and read some of the graveyards. 'Honorable Husband' 'Devoted Father' 'Amazing Son'. Those words on the stones that told a story all on their own made his heart sting with a type of poison that burned inside him. Silently he went on his way, wearing what he had been for several days now. A pair of rough jeans, over-used tennis shoes and a plaid shirt that hung on him loosely. His hair had grown some and he quiet frankly wanted to be rid of the shirt he wore. But considering he ruined his last pair of clothes he high jacked, none could have such glory. He stopped again, looking around the gravestones. Though he felt such down emotions, underneath the star light he felt as if he belong in the world of such pity sorrow. So he sat down, right next to a grave that held grandparents. His head leaned on the gradient stone, and his breath came out slowly. He would rest for now.

It was quiet, or as Vincent would say it was peaceful. A nice thing for him, he wasnt much for noise, unless it was music of course. Abit of a breeze was occasionally blowing his blue scarf over his face. Thought vincent wasnt much of a people person he did miss having his father around. the one person who never left him alone, always listened to him. It was either just the loss of his father coming through or he really wanted to be around people. No, just a person. How could he after all his years of being away and making people steer clear. He shook his head clear of those thoughts. After all it was just because he lost his father. As he walked hands in his ripped jeans pockets, he had his face looking at the night skies. He loved the stars they could tell so much about a person. if you could read it right. Vincent kept his slow steady pace till after a while of walking it took him to the cemetery. He had not been in a while, not that he was to busy with his ever "exciting" life style. Meaning he never did anything. He stopped at the entrance gates, and looked for the path that was carved into the ground leading the way. He soon walked up to the head stone. "loving father." He said softly, and possibly to him a bit depressed. Wishing he could have put more on there like great husband orwill be missed by all. But it didnt really matter because his father wouldnt have wanted more. Vincent sat on the head stone and looked out for a moment and then saw someone fairly close. In the seclusion of the night sitting by a loss. Being the kind of person he was he didnt know how to start a conversation nor did he even know if he wanted one. still to him it was odd to see someone else out at this time in a cemetery. Glanced at the person for a moment, then back up at the stars

With his eyes closed, he drifted some. Dreams were never his friends as an endless void that would make him shock awake because of the pain he seemed to feel. His brow creased, body tensed. Dreams often turned into nightmares. He opened his eyes just to focus on another body not to far from him. His lips curled and a growl emitted itself from his chest. He didn't like being bothered, but also, he didn't like people around him. He could tell, but the simple smell that this man was human. His growl decreased and he just watched him.
He wasn't very nice to begin with. So why start a conversation when it would probably just lead to a fight or something bigger. He was cautious, watching him, waiting for any sign that would be a threat. Ker wasn't a fan of seeing threats. His body would react faster than his mind in thinking out the solution. After a few moments, he watched as he didn't look down at him but instead the stars. It was at that moment, he spoke. "They're lovely...the stars." What possessed him to say that was unknown, but it seemed right.

He heard the slight growls that had come from the man beside him. He ignored them, why because f he was to attack him, Vincent knew that he was to close to really have any form of advantage over him. Though he should have been caught off guard when he spoke, he wasnt though. Vincent looked at him after he spoke then back up at the stars. Nodded a bit and said in his rough voice
"they are always, dont you think?"
Vincent had no idea if this was even a sentence. Being that he hadn't spoken to anyone but father and a bar tender. Hoping that speaking back wasnt offensive but it was to late now. Offensive because he never really used emotion in his voice other than sarcasm, therefore if could come off that way.He stuck his hand in his back pea coat and pulled out a silver pocket watch to see what time it was, then placed it back in his pocket. He got up off the head stone and sat on the ground. It was dry because it was too early for and dew to have formed on the grass. Vincent had become more curious as to why someone had actually spoken to him. Most people looked at him and just got a sense of fright like he was to hurt them or something. He wasnt sure. He looked over at the man, seeing if he was to strike a actual conversation.

Ker watched him as he answered, seeing the soft nod and hearing his voice. Rough, deep. His curious eyes didn't leave the form even though the human's eyes left his. He didn't speak yet, almost as if he was waiting. Friends had never been something he knew of or what. Talking he never did much because it seemed to only made things different when it came to him and other orphans. But something stirred his in being as he thought of the simple word. 'Friend' As a definition he was unsure of but he knew having just one of these simple keys in life could possibly mean the difference between life and death.
So why now, out of all times. Was it because he felt the loneliness of being a lone wolf even though he was still a pup in most standards. No one taught him anything. He fled from others trying to help him. It was possible that now, he craved that attention. So without him knowing a smile emerged from his lips as it pushed his cheeks up. To smile, now that was a change. Normally his smiles were devilish, almost demon like. But this one was different. Joyful even Seeing the man take a seat at the grass, Ker moved slightly closer, his curious sea green eyes looking at the man in the darkness. The male's eyes fell on him and he finally thought about his name. A name, a simple name. "I'm Ker..." He said, softer than before. Shyness? Maybe. Fear? Possibly. Hope? Yes.

"in Ker" rang in his head, a name. A persons name. This made him feel very different but a good different. He never knew the feeling of someone willingly giving their name up. It was always his fathers friends making their children introduce themselves. His tounge was tied for a moment. Still looking at him he spoke,
" Vincent, nice to meet you Ker."
He smirked a little bit or maybe it was a smile he didnt know. Never smiling alot in his life. Vincent didnt care much at this moment, he felt a bit at ease. Which was very odd. But he still was a bit warry of what could happen. He took off his pea coat, and was wearing and black and white wool sweater. What was to happen next, was he supposed to speak or was Ker? he wasnt sure so he got more comfortable on the grass at his fathers grave. To many times he had fallen asleep right here like this. Vincent looked over at Ker and said
" Not that im one to talk, but why are you out here so late at night?
He looked at him, then took out a cigar. HE hardly ever smoked but he did when he visited his fathers grave. He lit it and inhaled the vanilla tobacco in his mouth and then blew the think cloud of smoke out. Hoping that Ker wouldnt mind considering that he wasnt that close. .

Ker continued to smile. It felt good to smile. He slightly got up in a type of crouch as he moved slowly and most like a ape though that was hardly what he was. He got up closer, seeing the grave the man sat beside. He moved to sit on his feet, arms beside him as he looked at Vincent with a tilted head. He slowly sat on his ass , folding his legs Indian style and looking at the man who asked a rather easy question. His smile was already gone, and what took it's place was a frown, but not a sad one, but a upsetting one. "...I feel safer at night...plus..I don't have a place anyways." He answered quite clearly. His eyes left Vincent's face and looked down.
Sometimes he wished he hadn't have left the orphanage, or mascaraed them. But what would have happened if he didn't do it. Would they even had let him stay? Did his heart ache for those he killed? No. But it ached for acceptance. His head still lowered, he glanced up at the man before him. Just how old was he? Ker himself was 19..at least, he thinks he was. When was his birthday? He could never remember.

He listened to what his answer was. Nearly like his. it was safe. pretty much home. He looked at this young man. Smirked a bit as to his actions. Though it was a bit saddening as to why he had no place to go. Someone who was probably near his age. Not having a place to go. He looked at how Ker had closed the distance between them it was nice. To have someone so close. Vncent had also noticed how Ker moved a lot like a wolf.
" Do you smoke?"
It was what he could say with out prying into someones past, Or present for that matter. Vincent took another drag of his cigar and blew out a few O's and then blew the rest out, He put it down on the head stone for a moment the didnt burn quickly anyways. His fingers ran through his hair to movie it out of his face he hadnt cut it in a while. He tightened his scarf around his neck. He then looked back at Ker and picked up his cigar and held it out to him if he wanted it

Ker sat there, watching him. His nose cringed as the smell of the cigar made it to his nostrils. Then burning sensation it gave him of the smell of vanilla, paper and smoke creeped into his senses. He heard the question but hadn't reacted yet. He had seen many men smoke those things. He knew there were several different kinds. His teal eyes watched the end of it glow in the darkness a bright red when Vincent had inhaled some of it. He noticed the soft grey smoked O's when he blew it out. The smell itself wasn't pleasant, so when he had handed it out to allow him such a try, he was curious if he should take it. Being rather curious about it, he did.
Still without answering the rather simple question, he took the cigar from Vincent's hands and brought it closer, able to feel the soft heat from the tip. Not really sure what to do, he placed it on his lips and inhaled like he saw the other male do. Granted, it was his first time. He felt the odd air hit his lungs and instantly sent him into a cough as he held it away and seemed to hack up. He must have done it wrong because his eyes burned and his nostrils flared. He handed it back quickly to Vincent as he continued to cough until he finally settled down again, wiping at his eyes which had watered from the experience. He shook his head. He wasn't' going to do that again. "How do you...inhale that?" He said between a cough as he looked up at the male.

he chuckled at the coughing frenzy. He took his apparent hazard stick away from him. Vincent looked at Ker as he coughed and asked him the question. Which he hadnt answered his first. Vincent took another drag off his cigar, for the sake of ker he crushed the red cherry on the ground and put the rest of it in his pocket.
" Apparently you dont. You dont inhale a cigar you just hold the taste of the cigar smoke in our mouth. you suck in with your cheeks.
He looked at the boy once more to smirk again. Vincent took out his pocket watch it said it was 2 in the morning. Looking at it for a few moments he then looked at his feet, then at the sky then to Ker. Remembering how he said he didnt have a place. no one should be sleeping out side.
" You dont have any place to go right?"
he was so shocked as to how he was even going to offer a stranger this but he thought f himself as a gentleman and wouldnt let someone not have a place to go.
" Would you like to come back to my house? "
He didnt know what else to say or do but this person was so different from anyone. He felt that he was supposed to be friends or let this person be the first person to lead him into actually talking to people. But how could he know for sure

Ker didn't smile, nor did he frown. But the sudden rise in his temperature to his cheeks made him wonder. Was he actually blushing? That was a first as he tried to get rid of it, looking down when Vincent smirked at him. The grass below him was bright in the moonlight as his hand grazed over it. He heard him mention again what he had said earlier and just nodded. What he heard next caused his eyes to meet his again. He would let him stay? At first, he wasn't sure what to say, or think. What if he saw what he was? Though really, Ker hadn't eaten anything much since his hunting skills were lacking, and he didn't have spit for money.
He could feel a slight connection as if they shared something in common. Ker wasn't too sure, but the thought of sleeping on a bed sounded all too good. He let out a smile again. "If..you don't mind having me." He said

Vincent looked at Ker. He couldnt tell what he was thinking, though he thought it was none of his business. Vincent picked up his pea coat and put it on and buttoned it up, then stood up. He wasnt sure if he was just saying yes because he didnt want to be rude either way, Vincent knew that if he left him here with no where to go he'd never sleep. He may be a ass hole or a bit stand offish but it was just how people looked at a person who is unfortunately monotoned. Though he didnt care, if someone where to look at him and judge him because then they arent worth letting in. Putting his hands in his pockets he began to walk down the pathway as to which he walked the first time. He looked back at the head stone of his father. than kept walking. Not paying attention to see if Ker was actually coming or not.
"Its not that far of a walk from here."
Though it wasnt far only because Vincent never took the roads, he went through woods and trees. Never having to think of where he was going he just knew it was a sense, that developed from being outside so much. He looked at Ker and said
"Dont mind my house please."
There wasnt a house in sight yet thought but it was because him and his father had hidden it so well far from the likes of people. He turned to the right through a huge lush green bushes, and opened a gate that had been over grown with vines. The house was a small house large enough for four people. IT was like a painting to him. He opened the dark wooden door to his home. As he opened the door his home was his favorite smell. Which was one of his little habits, if something didnt smell the right way in his house he'd get anxious. The home smelt like red wine and what ever food he had made that moment. Which was in the oven at the moment keeping warm. He had made pesto pasta and a few steaks.
" Would you like something to eat ker?"
He took out the food from the oven, and set it on the counter taking some out for himself and pour his glass of red wine. and sat down and hand gestured to ker to help himself.

Ker watched him dress and stand. At first he stayed there, but when he began to walk away, Ker was quick on his feet and joined him. He didn't mind that it wasn't too far. Being a rogue traveler, he got everywhere by foot. He saw Vincent's eyes on him again and the statement made him actually chuckle. He continued to follow him, seeing the scenery around them and falling in love with it already. He watched him open the gates which had vines overgrown over them. Walking through there his hand grazed over them. He glanced up at the house, sitting so cozily in the forest of green. He stopped a few feet away as Vincent opened the door the home. He continued to stand there, debating, wondering if he should enter. He was invited wasn't he? He stopped thinking when the aromas of whatever was inside the house leaked out and hit his sense of smell. His pupils went wide as he took in a deep breath. Wine, and something that just smelled divine. His mouth watered and he was gone from his mind. He heard the question and bit his lip.
He was starving to say the least. He rushed in the house feeling as if he had stood outside too long and sat him taking out the food and placing it on the counter. He watched as he made himself a plate and motioned for Ker to do the same. His tongue came out to lick his dry lips gently. Almost on cue, his stomach growled. Suddenly another wave hit him as he blushed twice in one night. He wasn't sure what to get, but helping himself to some pasta and a steak he took a seat across from Vincent. He was taught manners at a young age, but never really abide by them. This however, seemed like a good time to. "...Thanks.." He said, his eyes glancing up at the man who had so kindly taken him in. He didn't want any longer as he dug in.

Vincent watched Ker start on his plate. He'd offer wine if he knew his age. not that he would honestly care he found that law insane. vincent cut his meal, and then saw he hadnt gotten anything to drink which to him was silly. He had never had a meal with out some sort of drink n had. Plus a drink is not only to quench thirst but to enhance taste as well. He stood up and poor Ker two glasses He didnt have to drink both or either. One blown glass wine glass and a mug that matched the other glass of Orange juice.. and put both infront of Ker. Vincent be a quiet person and an assuming person as well, he said nothing when he put them silently in front of Ker. HE didnt want to assume age. Vincent looked in his living room which was connected to his kitchen. To him it was a bit messy, which he didnt like much but he never expected anyone over. His cello, little colored broken glass, and some sketches of things he was to make out of the glass. He looked back at Ker
" I didnt expect anyone over, excuse me as i put my glass shards away."
He Pushed his seat out then put the colored glass in a bag and put it in a cabinet. He didnt feel like cleaning much else. He then say back at the table to finish his meal

Ker was completely into his food. Like the animal he was he scarfed it down, almost feeling sick cause he had eaten so much. During his slight gorging, he could smell the wine and another drink as he glanced up , his teal eyes slightly amber when he saw two glasses. He finished his meal, only to grab the one containing wine and downing the contents. He wasn't sure what it was as he felt the ting in his throat. He coughed some but stopped after two times. He stared at his now empty plate and his stomach felt completely satisfied. He didn't feel embarrassed, though he thought he should. He was purely an animal the way he attacked the food. Then again, not eating in a few days, it does that to him.
He looked up and watched Vincent, just watching him. "...Do.you live here alone?" He asked.

He looked at Ker and spoke in his rough voice.
" I do."
A simple answer was all that he could think of. Being that it was his house he took his cigar out of his coat pocket. Then took off his coat and put it over the seat. It wouldnt take long to smoke it wasnt one of the huge victory ones. Just a hand rolled one. Then he stood up grabbed his wine glass and went into the living room where he had just cleaned and opened the window and sat down on the chair. And Lit it with a match. Vincent looked back at Ker and then at his cello. How he had just left it by his fire place.
" Make yourself at home, T.V. ect and if you'd like to eat more you are welcome to.
He didnt know much about hosting since he was very much a loner and never had anyone over his house. Puffing on his hazard stick. Sipping on his wine life was decent for Vincent now all he needed to let in a friend or two and a love.

Ker gave a soft nod, watching Vincent only a bit as he heard his statement on making himself at home. It was hard to fathom the thought but he did, grabbing another plate of food and once finished feeling the stinging pain of exactly the hunger he had put himself through. 'Note to self...learn to hunt better' He thought. After finishing his second plate, he did what he had grown up to do. The dishes. What made him do it? Habit mostly, but also, Vincent had let him inside his home. Though he wasn't a fan of being nice nor doing anyone favors, he found himself doing this because he felt he needed to. After he finished he turned to see Vincent still smoking that cigar he wasn't too fond of. But who was he to tell people of 'bad habits' when he himself had his own.
He didn't know what to do now. But sleep seemed to be creeping up on him. His eyes drooped, and he could feel the pull from his body. He walked to Vincent and shoved his hands in his pockets. "..I'd actually like to hit the sack..umm..do you have a guest room?" He asked.

vincent nodded and put out his cigar, and pointed to the first room at the beginning of the hallway. It was odd to him, how easily he let anyone into his home. But more odd that he was letting someone stay the night. This is how it had to start he guess. TO let people into his life, was to start by invites and caution. He looked at ker, and then figured since he was going to sleep Vincent might as well. Now t was probably 3 or 330 in the morning. He then stood up and took his scarf off. And headed into his bed room, putting on some pj bottoms on just red plaid. He didnt like to wear shirts at night because they were too constricting.. Vincent left the bed room forgetting about his wine and walked into the living room picked it up and put it in the fridge. and then put the remains of the food that ker and him had eaten in to the fridge as well. So he then said
"Evening"
and then he headed into his room and sat in his bed waiting for sleep.

Ker gave a nod and walked to the room, undressing to his boxers. He heard Vincent's 'evening' but didn't respond. He crawled in the bed and let out a soft breath of a relaxing sigh. It had been days since he had slept in a bed. He took in the comfort and nuzzled his face into the pillow. Sleep was almost upon him and before he let it take him completely, he smiled again. His body relaxed, and it formed in the bed. That night's sleep, was the best he'd had since birth.
------- 8 am in the morning
Ker's eyes flashed open. He could feel the heat of the sun's rays on his back and looked up to see the room around him. He felt as if he had overstayed his welcome. So getting up quickly and quietly, he dressed and snuck out through the window. He stopped to look back at the house, to remember the generosity and kindness Vincent showed. He hoped that he'd seem him again. "..Perhaps one day, I'll call you friend.." He said to himself as he ran off.
