Thief looked up with sleepy eyes at the establishment. "Rustic. I like it. Doesn't remind me of home at all." He put a new Red in his mouth and let it sit there as he looked the place up and down like a good looking woman.

“You gonna undress it with your eyes or go in?” Cass looked up at him, grinning.

After a long pause, he lit his cigarette. "Well I guess I'd better go in. Gotta be in it to win it." He joked.

Cass rolled her eyes, pulling at the door. It was awkward and heavy, something she credited to the fact the Xander did these sorts of thing for her. She glanced back, raising an eyebrow. “You have your i.d., right?”

"Do I look that young?" He raised an eyebrow, exhaling smoke with each syllable.

"Er..." He began slapping his whole body for pockets.
Thief frowned. "I'm fuckin ten years older than half his crowd. I don't need no fuckin ID..."

Cass shrugged absently, giving up and heading to the bar. She stopped halfway and held out a twenty. “Order me a beer and whatever else you want, ‘kay?”

"Anything for a lady.." He winked and walked up to the barkeep. "Ehhh.. I'll take a Blacklabel, no ice.. and.." He turned to Cass, "What kind you want? House? Bud? Other?"

The bartender shot Cass a look before looking back at Thief. “We don’t serve alcoholic beverages to minors.”
Cass looked pointedly away, feigning interest in the floor.

"who said it was for her?" Thief replied flatly, the smoke remaining at a constant vertical motion.
"You got something against my sister? Just cause she's here tagging along doesn't mean you can disrespect a lady like that. I love my little sister and I'd go batshit if someone tried to serve her any alcohol. If you got shit then bring it man. All she wanted was something to eat."

“She’s your sister?” He eyed them both suspiciously. “How come I’ve never seen you around?”
“He’s from out of town, duh.” Cass stepped forward. “And Xander wants a Rolling Rock.” The bartender grunted and after a moment handed over the beers.

He took his crystal glass of liquid God and drank it like water. "So, sis, you gonna introduce me to all the people around here?"

“Yeah,” Cass answered sourly, leading him away. “If I can find them.”

“Who the f**k is this?” Frank growled, looking the stranger over. “You can’t keep picking up strays.” Cass rolled her eyes, taking the beer from Thief and handing it to her second.
“This’s Frank.”

Frank smirked, opening the beer and handing it back to Cass. “She conned you into getting her booze?”
“I paid for it.” Cass protested before putting the bottle to her lips.

"Her money." Thief shrugged. He pulled out another cigarette and stuck it in his mouth. "Kids are gonna get it some way anyhow." He lit it and took a drink from his glass.
"The name's Thief. Nice to meet ya."
