Causika arrived in Cold Creek at some point in the day. She wandered around town until the sky turned a beautiful reddish-gold. It was nearing a full blown sunset and she was still enthralled by the possibilities of settling into this lovely place. When she happened across a park, she couldn't help but stroll right in. She breathed in the fresh air and eventually kicked off her socks and shoes. She stuffed them in her backpack and shuffled through the grass. She liked how it felt so soft between her toes but seemed to crunch beneath her feet. So far, this was her favorite place in Cold Creek. Eventually Causika came across a children's playground. She adored swinging on swing sets, and when she found one, she practically squealed with excitement. She ran right up to it, barely noticing the switch between grass to pebbles under her soles. She jumped right into one of the swings and pushed back. She didn't hasten her speed much, allowing the swing to slowly get higher and higher until she'd reached a comfortable arch that almost made her feel as if she was flying. She officially loved this town. It was wonderful. She only wished she'd find some people to interact with. That would be what would seal the deal on her staying.

Cass sighed and looked around the park, waiting for the rest of her pack to arrive. Well, mostly she was waiting on Xander. She didn't much care if anyone else showed up.

Causika watched the park around her as she tilted back and forth with the swing. She eventually spotted another girl in the park. She considered saying hello, but the girl appeared to be waiting for someone. She decided to wait and weigh her options. She figured if no one showed or if the girl didn't leave, she'd say something.

"cassie?" Xander called, blinking against the brightness, not knowing there was another girl in the park with the same nickname

Causika's attention snapped back to the direction of the girl. She'd heard someone say her name, well an abbreviation of her name. She found the girl that she'd spotted earlier, then a guy. The guy's attention was on the girl, she automatically figured the girl was called Cassie also, but she kept her attention on them.

"Xand!" Cass called back, waving.

Causika knew their names now. She wondered if they were part of the pack or if they were just members of the town. It didn't matter too much, she'd be happy to meet anyone at that point. Seeing them in front of her just made her curious.

Xander wrapped an arm around her, glancing back at the person who seemed to have the nerve to be in the park when he was meeting Cassie there. A werewolf, from the smell

Causika looked away as she saw the guy, Xander, look back at her. He looked a little upset. She waved lightly as her swing began to slow, then looked back at them. She decided she wasn't going to meet anyone by trying to hide quietly away. She figured that if he was upset about something, he could come talk to her about it. She sat up slightly straighter in her swing and waved at the couple.

"Why is she waving at you?" Cass frowned, hitting Xander's shoulder.

Causika flinched when she saw the girl, Cassie, hit Xander. She didn't even realize that could be a possible result. She felt like an airhead. She hopped off her swing and called out to them, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to cause trouble! I'm just new in town. Trying to be friendly, ya know?"
