“I don’t like him, either.” Cass yawned, looping her arms around Carrie’s neck.
Frank stared, wide eyed at Xander. “That kid…”

Carrie's lips twitched at a different sort of smile. She stood up, scooping up Cass in her arms. "How about some breakfast, huh? I can see if any of us remember to buy food this week."

“That can’t be Cass…” Frank frowned. “Someone’s missing a kid.”
“Okay,” Cass wrapped her legs around Carrie’s waist. “Then can we watch cartoons?”

"It's Cass." Xander said, sitting tiredly on the couch and bracing his head in his hands

Carrie grinned, nodding. "Yup. Any preference to what you wanna watch?" Carfully balancing the young girl in her arms, she carried her past the boys through the living room and into the kitchen, feeling more than slightly like a mother kangaroo.

“Like hell it’s Cass.” Frank shook his head. “Cass likes me.”
“I like Tom and Jerry.” Cass stuck her tongue out at Frank, playing with Carrie’s hair.

"Get over it." xander said without looking up. "She's Cass. I can tell these things."

“What the hell’re you gonna do with a mini Cass?” Frank blinked, still a little shell shocked.

"Ohh, my favorite." Carrie plopped Cass down in a chair at the table. She snatched the garbage can and quickly swiped off the various empty bottles of beer and wine coolers off the table and into the trash can. Snatched the filled ash tray off the center of the table and emptied that as well. "There. Now that there's room, let's look for food." She strutted over to the cabinets, scrounging around for anything edible.

“I like the one’s with the baby duck.” Cass grinned, swinging her legs.
Frank shook his head, heading towards the kitchen. “Cass can’t not like me.”

Carrie grinned and pulled out a half full box of Lucky Charms. "Ah, he's a cutie. I always liked Spike."

“Because, she hates you,” Frank grinned. “And all will be right in the world as soon as I bribe her off with some care bears and gummi worms.”
“Are we gonna find my daddy soon?” Cass frowned slightly, eyeing the approaching Frank.

Carrie shot Frank a glare before producing a few clean bowls from the dish drainer. "Sure, Cassie. We'll try our best to find him." She turned toward the fridge.

“Carrie seems to be enjoying herself.” Frank grinned back at him, edging closer. “Plus, you’re only mad ‘cause this means you won’t be getting any tail.”
Cass got up, moving closer to Carrie and farther away from Frank.

Carrie pulled out a full quart of milk, happy that she'd decided on Bloody Marys instead of White Russians last night. She grinned downa t Cass, patting her on the head. "Ready to catch a leprechaun?"
