"Lucky Texas..." Xander grumbled, smiling, and stood up anyway, walking over towards Carrie. "So, it's playtime now, is it?"

Carrie turned towards him, her eyes gleaming excidedly. She nodded eagerly. "Mmhmm! Der Der, you know how much I love fall and winter." She laughed. "Oh, remember the Halloween I dressed you up like Angel from Buffy? I really wish you'd've kept that costume."

"And you should have kept the Faith costume." Xander laughed softly. He actually had kept the Angel costume, religiously lying to Carrie about it.

Carrie smiled impishly. "What if I did?" She asked in a lightly teasing tone. "I mean, I usually don't throw out stuff I made myself."

"That's evil, Carrie." Xander made a face. "You shouldn't tease guys, let alone guys that...." he trailed off. "Let's go outside now, shall we?"

For a breif second, Carrie pondered what he was going to say then quickly grinned. "Alright." She grabbed her thin denim jacket off the small heater, her favorite jacket. It was a light tan color with large buttons long the front and a slightly higher collar than other jackets.
As she pulled it on she gave Xander a wink. "And whoever said I was good, hm?"

Xander pulled on his leather jacket, sighing. "You have a point there...."

Carrie laughed and opened the front door, rushing out the door and twirling around in the lightly flurring snow. She jumped up and down a few times, laughing like a five-year old.

Xander chuckled softly, watching her.

Carrie looked at him, a wide grin on her face. "C'mon, Der Der! Let's have a snowball fight! Let's make a snowman! Let's do all the stuff we couldn't do when we were kids because there was no damn snow!"
"Pookie, let's have fun!" She didn't even seem to realize she'd called him by her old nickname for him.

Xander bit his lip, pretending he hadn' heard the 'pookie' thing. That aso involved pretending not to have heard anything she said, so he stayed silent

Carrie dug around her pocket, pulling out a fairly crudley-made purple knited cap she'd made when it had started getting cold, pulling it on her head to cover her ears. She looked up at Xander again, grinning. "So, what do you say, Der Der? Are you up for some fun?"

"What should we do first?" Xander smiled crookedly, still mentally off balance

Carrie twirled around again, her curling dark hair flying behind her. "Hmm...how about a snowman?!"

Carrie squealed and grinned. "Alright!" Shedropped down to her knees in the snow, not seeming to care that the shins of her jeans were going to get cold and wet. She began making a large snowball for the base with her bare hands.

Xander sat down next to her, helping where he could, even though he'd never even seen this done before

Carrie smiled at him, beggining to roll her snowball along the snow on the gorund. "You wanna help me roll this thing?"

Carrie shrugged and giggled. "I was gonna smooth it out, dun worry." She hopped up. "Hey, you roll this around and I'll be right back." She rushed inside without another word, leaving the door wide open.
