Konstance watched them start to fight, but that wasn't what she wanted. She wanted to run, or rather, she didn't.. but the beast inside of her that she became did. The wolf in her stretched it's legs, happy to be free. The silver fur rippled, and she put her nose to the ground, sniffing at it for a few seconds.. Then she launched herself forward. She wasn't a very powerful creature, but one thing Konstance did have was speed. She was faster than her parents, and Oktavian. She was gone, leaving the fighting wolves behind her. The sheer enjoyment of running was enough for her. It was the only thing she liked about being a wolf, because the pleasure of freedom was oh-so-sweet. Her claws ripped the earth lightly as she ran, far from them. From everything.
She slowed to a rhythmetic walk, her eyes narrowing as she slunk into the shadows to cross a street when she was sure there were no cars coming. She could hear them exceptionally well. She could hear everything, her senses all together were increased in this form. The silver blur darted across another abandoned road, and she found herself lost somewhere in the woods. That was fine. She would smell her way back later. The strangling feeling of lonliness washed over her, and Konstance stopped a short distance from a nice abandoned scenic area. She was hidden in the cover of the trees, and she glanced around the forest.. She could hear everything, her legs trembled, she had ran long, and a reasonable distance in a short time.. still, she found her body wasn't really tired.
She hated discovering things about this form. She hated it, hated the legends, the tales, but it was hard to maintain control of a human mind in this form. Mostly, it was just instincts. It was hard to just.. think. With a stubborn sigh, which sounded weird coming from a wolf, she sat her tail end on the ground and focused on maintaining human thoughts and emotions. If she was going to keep changing into this creature, which she would for the rest of her life, she would have to master control of some sort of emotion.. To bring some part of humanity with her while she was the silver wolf. She layed down, head on her paws, staring at a creek while the water rippled.
In a world were only instinct existed, how could they stop themselves from doing things? What was to stop them from ripping out a person's throat for just approaching them without knowing it. The Darkness shadowed the light on Konstance's end of the deal. She fell alone. She would give anything, anything, to just be human. To not feel instinctual.. Like a predator. Like a monster.
Ooc// Sorry. I had a very STRANGE STRESSFUL day and I was just drilling something out. Just erase it if you want. >.<
Yeahh, that was just a waste of space. Sorry. =/
