Vance was sitting in the attic of the old abandoned warehose in coldcreek. He spent time in there often. In the attic there were dozens of cobwebs and spiders, ther were holes all in the walls, the planks on the floor creaked evry time someone moved, and the window revealed the full moon. "This town is boring, its been that way ever since I moved here with my foster parents," Vance stated in a low monitone. He sat there and tapped his foot as he became lost deep in his thoughts. His green eyes ful of hatred were gazing dow at the floor. HE shifted to a different position, he stretched one leg out and set the other one up. He then rested his hand on his knee. Then his gaze shifted as he looked out the window at the full moon which illuminated the attic. A low growl escaped Vances throat. "The full moon provides me with new life and energy," Vance told him self again in the flat tonless voice.

Old ruined buildings were the best; if you happened to turn into a blood thirsty wolf at least once a month. Cain had managed to run off from the rest of the crew in the park. They tended to play that ‘catch-me-if-you-can’ game every time someone Changed. Cain had an upper hand, being black came in handy sometimes. Rose was just dead in the water, white wasn’t the best color to have if you wanted to blend in.
Dashing inside of the old warehouse building in the older part of town, the same building the band used to practice, Cain made some noise that might have been laughter if he had the means with which to laugh. He stopped twenty feet or so within the building. There was someone else there. They’d been there a while too; they’d managed to stink the whole damn place up. Immediately Cain’s entire body went into defense mode. He wasn’t so fond of strangers in his building.

Immediatley Vance picked up a scent. He slowly began to transform, first he grew a long muzzle. Then his arms and legs grew shorter but became more powerfuls, claws merged out of the tips of his fingers, and finally he was covered in black hair. He jumped out of the attic to meet another person.
Vance let out a low muffled growl then snarled at the intruder showing his sharp fangs. Drool seeped from his mouth and fell to the ground. Every heair on his bacl was standing on end as he glared at the wolf in front of him. Vance was not in any mood to start a braw, but he was not about to let someone waltz in and make him leave.

Cain simply stared at the other wolf for a moment. There wasn’t any need to jump the gun on tearing the other wolf limb from limb; it didn’t seem to pose any immediate threat. Besides, Cain was pretty sure if the other guy decided to jump, he could hold his own. He was by no means a small animal.
Cain growled, just to test the waters, let the other guy know who was ‘in charge’ around there. He wasn’t one to lie down and take orders from anyone, if he wasn’t bending for his father he wasn’t bending for anyone. Cain circled the other wolf, tail high, as he sniffed and looked over it. Yeah, it was the cause of the oder now hanging in the air of the building. At least there weren’t others with it.
Cain was cocky but he wasn’t stupid. He knew he couldn’t take more then one or two wolves out numbering him. He might hold up against three with good luck. Maybe Rose and Jack would show up soon.

"Who does he think he is," Vance thought to himself. Vance lunged at the other wolf circling him just to spook him. He was coming in exceptionally fast and his mouth was gaping open revaling all of his teeth. {Kind of Short}

Cain jumped back. Okay, so the new guy was feeling a little froggy. He could jump back. Cain let his eyes follow the other wolf, all the while growling steadily. All those teeth didn’t really scare Cain, he had just as many. He let himself back up a little, his tail still high – he just needed to gain a little ground. Just incase he needed to fight back. Cain snarled, letting out a growl that ended in a low bark.

Rose lifted her head up from the ground. She'd tracked Cain's scent to the warehouse. Hmph, jerk. She'd show him that it wasn't best to run off in the middle of a game of 'Catch-Me-If-Ya-Can'. Time to play 'Stalker-Rosie', mwahaha.
She nudged open the door with her paw, sneaking inside the building. She grinned inwardly but that quickly faded as she caught the smell of someone else. Someone unfamiliar. She laid her snowy-colored ears against her head and cautiously wnet towards the smell. It was starting to linger with Cain's as she got closer.

Cain barked loudly as his nose got a whiff of someone else. He knew right off that it was Rose, probably looking for him because of that game. Well, now his running off could cause problems. He still wasn’t sure how to deal with the unfamiliar wolf. Maybe Rose would get the hint and leave. Then again it was Rose, she’d want see what was going on.

He started to sniff the air, he was getting a scent of something. Finally Vance picked up on the scent of yet another Wolf. He was about to be caught between to Wolves, how many could he fend off. He was only doing this to defend his ground. He wasn't doing it to start trouble, it was his natural instcint. It wasn't anything that could be controlled. "Here goes nothing," Vance thought. He quickly leaped forward towards the wolf in front of him. He acted as if he were going to bite him, but he quickly slashed with his left claw...

Cain had been a little too preoccupied with Rose to really have full attention on other wolf. He had to admit he was a little taken back with the other wolf pounced, baring teeth and coming at him a lot faster then he’d anticipated. When the paw came in contact with the right side of Cain’s body, he felt the claws sink into the flesh on his shoulder. That was going to hurt like a mother when he changed back, hell it was hurting now. Spinning around as quickly as he could with a fresh wound, Cain turned to all teeth. Now it was settled. This was foe not friend. With a leap and bite Cain went for the back of the other wolf’s neck.

Vance tried dodging but was bitten sharply on his back. He let out a yelp of pain as the teeth slowly sunk into his skin. Slowly blood dripped from his back to the ground. He had let his pride get in the way of his judgement for too long. He finnaly left that forsaken place and went elsewhere with his business. He ran out to the park not that far away. Once he was in the security there he transformed back to his normal form. "Dang that hurts," Vance mumbled under his breath. Vance sat on the bench in the park and sat there until his wounds began to quit stinging. After that he head off to the skate park about a mile down the road.

Jack sat at the top of the half-pipe. First Cain had left in the middle of a game and then Rose followed, he wasn’t dumb enough to not take a hint. He kicked the side idly, listening to the dull thud until the sound of foot steps caught his attention. It was weird, the park was the normal hangout; pretty much no one went here after dark.
