XD This was spawned out of pure boredom and an English class writing assignment. Semi-based on an RP between my friend Kitty and I. Kitty, Lance and DL are © to Kitty and I own myself. ^^
_____
Chapter 1
_____
“Hey, Kit-Kat! Do you know where that Happy Bunny shirt I left here last week is?” Lyn asked as she rummaged through her friend Kitty’s closet.
“I think my mom is washing it.” Kitty told her, not taking her brown eyes off her computer screen. Kitty’s boyfriend/muse was reading silently over her shoulder.
“You spelled ‘ketchup’ wrong.” The silver-haired teen pointed out. Kitty turned around to face him, her left eye twitching in a silent warning. “Sorry.” Lance backed off, knowing very well Kitty had a horrible temper and she hadn’t slept in at least twenty-eight hours due to a sudden burst of random inspiration.
“Hey, Kit, how come there’s a huge black void in the floor of your closet?” Lyn asked, still searching through her friend’s closet. Lance’s dark side/Kitty’s other muse, DL, who, until then, had been sitting on sitting’s bed in silent meditation. The young ninja opened one eye and stood up. He made his way to the closet, disappearing behind a rack of T-shirts.
“She’s right…” DL said in his low, slightly cold voice, his words surprisingly not muffled by the high collar of his black coat.
“Wha?” Kitty stood up, her joints creaking slightly from not moving in the past few hours. She stiffly made her way to her closet with Lance helping her a little.
“Sure enough, the was a large, perfectly round black hole on the floor in the back of the 16-year-old’s closet.
“Wanna throw something in?” Lyn asked, still staring ay the seemingly bottomless hole. DL glanced at the blond and nudged her just enough for her to lose her balance and send her falling into the plot hole.
“Not meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee….” Her voice trailed off into silence. Kitty and Lance glared at the former assassin.
“…What? I never really liked her any-Oof!” Kitty shoving him into the void cut off his words. She and Lance quickly followed their friends into parts unknown.
___
“Uff!” Kitty huffed when she landed on a soft, but itchy and dry surface. Sitting up, the brunette looked around at the slowly passing countryside. She’d apparently landed in a wagon of hay, which would explain the itching. Her friends were sitting around her, looking bored and, oddly enough, wearing different clothes.
Lyn’s simple torn jeans and T-shirt were replaced with an emerald green gown with a tiara decorated with emerald and diamonds. Lance’s white shirt and denim jacket was now a suit of silver armor with what looked like a medieval drawing of a squirrel on the chest. DL wore armor identical to Lance’s in black.
Kitty felt a hint of terror slowly creeping into her chest. ‘No…No, no, no...’ She looked down and let out a cry of disgust. Her jeans and beloved comfiest shirt were now a dark brown skirt and white corset-like blouse.
“No! Uh-uh! No way! I am not staying in this damn dress! I have principles, you know! And they do not included wearing dresses!” She ranted to anyone who’d listen. “I am not staying in this and that’s final!”
___
“I can’t believe I’m stuck in this dress.” Kitty moped as the group rode on to the nearest town and, hopefully, the next plot hole home.
