Basic Rules
1. Please remain as active as you can. I understand you have lives, we all do. But please if you’re going to be gone for more then two or three days, post it on the Vacation board. We won’t bite your head off, promise.
2.Some adult content is allowed. Site rating: 15 +
[ Keep it half-decent.] Yes MxM, FxF, and regular relationships are allowed. There is catch though, I [nor does Tala] want to see these boards. You go farther then a kiss, move it to PM. No one needs to see. Also I don’t want the boards run over with soft porn, no, not happening.
Important!!! With Jack and I running the board, rating is bumped up to 18+. Do whatever you want. If you aren't comfortable with sex scenes, please avoid the threads we normally post in and start your own threads, requesting 15+ of 'fluffless' ~Evlyn
3. You can play as many characters as you can keep active. We're not restricting you to one or two. [But keep them active please!] You’ll need to have each one approved by auditioning for each character. Please post them on separate threads.
4. Keep in character on the in-character boards, as much as you can. Ooc is for your Ooc needs. I understand sometimes role-plays are lost due to the over use of ‘Out of Character’, that’s why there is a board for it. So, you can chat to your little hearts content. ^-^
5. Your username does not have to be your character name. After you sign up for an account, you can change what your name is by simply going to ‘profile’, then clicking ‘modify profile’. The fourth box is ’Display Name’, you can change it to whatever you like. Not so much a rule as a guideline.
6. Do not start role-playing until after you've posted your Audition. [Especially right after joining the site.] You must wait for either me [Cain], Tala, or another Admin to approve you.
8. No advertising. Except, of course, on the advertising board, that’s why its there.
9. Use clear, precise language, and always be sure of the meaning of a word or synonym before using it. No chat speak. At All.
10. Do not power play, god mode, ect. Hopefully, you're not new to role-playing and know what this means. If not, you probably didn’t get approved. So I don’t really have to worry about this.
11. Watch spelling and grammar. Be literate, please and thank you.
12. General etiquette rules are to be followed. Don't spam. Don't interrupt plots. Don't try to hijack a plot/board. [Also, don't get a smart ass attitude with me. You will not like what I have to say back.]
13. The Last One: Please don’t over run my site with crazy werewolf fan girls… Mix it up a bit.
I hope my rules weren’t too bad, they are pretty basic, but you know. If you have a problem with something in my rules, I don’t really care. Tala is the sympathic one. Not me. I try not to be too big of a pain, but I can’t help it. There are very few good role-playing boards left; I’m adding this one to that list.
I hope you enjoy it here at Cold Creek,
Cain Jiovanni
