“Used to be gossip like that got you a one way ticket to the funny farm.” Frank let out a wistful sigh, not buying a word of her excuse. He eyed her drink briefly, still sipping at his own.
“I have a one drink limit for chicks who don’t tell me their names.”

"Really? I prefer getting drinks from guys without names." Patience held her empty glass up. "Come one, a few more and I may be ready for your cave."

“It was a caveman joke.” Frank grumbled darkly, feeling under appreciated. “ ‘Cause you’re a…nevermind.” “I’m Frank.” He dripped a little beer in her cup, feeling he was being very generous. “And I know a lost cause when I see it.”

Patience looked at him oddly, but happily drank the beer. "Patience. You're the first person I;ve talked to this week that didn't drool or run away."

“Well, you are a human,” Frank shrugged, pushing away from the table. “I have a reputation to uphold.”

"Gonna go watch your ex squirm on the bar some more?" Patience smirked. "Or find someone else to spill your drink on?"

“Neither,” Frank rolled his eyes, returning a few moments later with more beer- a bucket this time. “You know, I’m generally not very nice to people as a rule. You shouldn’t push your luck.”

"Ah, what're you gonna do?" Patience grinned, then smiled genuinely. "Bite me?" she reached for a beer

“I’m sincerely considering it.” Frank answered evenly, returning the smile.

Frank found himself grinning back but quickly shook his head and cleared his throat. “That’s not funny. Say that to a newly turned ‘wolf and you-“

"Fine, no biting." Patience smirked. "How about we finish these beers and get out of here?"

Frank drained his beer in one pull, setting it back on the table and grinning crookedly. “Yeah, a little.”

"Sure." Patience drained her beer and set it down, standing up, giving him an expectant look

Frank followed suit, raising an eyebrow at her. “I don’t have an extra helmet. Or any helmet.”
Well, if he was going to be a hypocrite and shack up with a human, he might as well take Xander’s bike for a ride.

"Mmh, if I'm gonna get with a lycan, I might as well live dangerously." Patience grinned. If we die, I'll be tormenting you in hell."
