"You don't want baggage without lifetime guarentees, you don't want to watch me die, I just came to say, good-bye, Love, goodbye, Love, just came to say, goodbye, Love, goodbye!" Wika's voice echoed through the halls of Jiovanni manor as she practiced for her upcoming school audition. She hadn't stopped singing fr three hours straight.
Rose cradled her infant son in one arm, sighing as she knocked on the door. "Wika, honey, could you quiet down a little? Wes needs to take his nap."
The music lowered to a dull roar and Wika opened the door, grinning proudly. "Oh, sure, Mom." She seemed to be in a very good mood, as singing always seemed to do to her. She looked down at her baby brother and kissed his forehead. "Heya, dred toddler Wesley, terror of day care."
"When are auditions, Wika?"
"Tomorrow."
"What is it and who're you going to get?''
"RENT and Mimi."

Cain had been trying to work on his over-due paper work all day. He’d taken a few weeks off from the Council to help Rose out with the new baby. He wasn’t sure she’d feel up to being at home alone, with Wika and Wesley. Besides, he didn’t want her to get stressed out right after having kid number two.
“Damnit, get one to hush and the other starts,” he was referring to his eldest child’s loud singing. “Why did I put my office four doors down form the kid’s rooms?” He rolled his eyes at his own stupidity and turned on the stereo on his desk. Maybe he could just drown her out. Wesley crying was one thing, that couldn’t be helped. But Wika’s singing. That was purely containable.
After yelling three times, and getting no answer in return, Cain got up from his desk, leaving his computer screen to stare at no one.
“Wika!” He stormed down the hallway, toward his daughter’s room. “If you don’t stop that damn noise!” Suddenly the noise stopped.
“Thank you,” he opened the door to reveal Wika, Rose, and Wesley in view.
“Think you could sing any louder?”

Wika snirked. "Probably, Daddy. Wanna see?" She took a deep breath as if to belt out another note.
Rose slapped her hand over her daughter's mouth. "Not...necessary..."

“God, tell me again why we had another one? This one was almost grown, almost just us again.” Cain was shaking his head and leaning on the doorframe.

Rose shrugged. "I really have no idea." She smiled down at Wesley. "But he's well worth it, doncha think? At least, while he's young."

Cain smiled. “Yeah, definitely worth it,” He said, walking over to stand by his wife. “Too bad they don’t stay this size forever, eh?” He was looking down at Wesley, all snuggled up in his little blanket.

Rose chuckled. "Yeah...all sweet and cuddly and....not talking yet."
Wika slunk away from her parents and downstairs. She picked up the phone and dialed the number to Jack and Eva's, hoping Kaitlyn was there.

“Yeah, he’ll probably be like Wika and never stop once he starts.” Cain said, grinning as he looped an arm around his wife’s waist. “You do good at this baby thing, Rose, real good.”

“Hey, Wika.” Kait grinned, muting the tv.

Wika grinned over the hpone. "Hey, Kaity. What's up? You going to the auditions tomorrow?"

“Yeah,” Kait rolled her eyes. “ The rents’ don’t want me to, though.” She shrugged.

Rose chuckled and grinned at her husband. "You have to help to. You helped make him."
Wika rolled her eyes. "They'll live when you get a great part. How's the baby?"

“Dad said Mom probably wouldn’t even go. Bad memories or something.” Kait shrugged. “Loud and annoying, like always.”

“Yeah, but still, my part is considerably smaller than yours,” He replied, making a face, that was just something someone never gets use too, seeing their wife have a baby. “Though you do have the tendency to make me wonder if you’ve broken my hand, in multiple places. If that counts as helping.”
Ooc; Lynny....you need to get on AIM!

"Hmn. Well, Mom did tell me there were some problems when she and Aunt Eva were doing Wicked...ah well." Wika leaned against the counter. "Same with Wes."
Rose wrinkled her nose at him cutely. "Randy said I only sprained it last time, you lived."

“No,” Kait sighed, annoyed. “Eva said she’d come. Dad said my Mom probably won’t show.”

"Good. So, who're you going out for in the show?" Wika wandered over to the fridge, rummagaing around for something chocolatey to snack on.

“Never mind the fact that I’m left handed and couldn’t even write my own name,” Cain relied, looking at his wife. “But who needs the use of their hand for two weeks, huh?”
